Technical Resource Group (TRG) Becomes IBM Reseller

Costa Mesa, Calif.—July 1, 2001 With IBM completing its acquisition of the database assets of Informix Corporation, which doubles the size of IBM's distributed database business, Technical Resource Group (TRG) has become an IBM Business Partner. Previously, TRG was an Informix Partner focusing on the MITS Business Intelligence Product. TRG is now an IBM U2 Systems Integrator. TRG can provide its expertise in system conversions, migrations and integrations for clients that have IBM U2 products. U2 stands for the combined IBM database products of Universe and Unidata. TRG's extensive experience with MultiValue databases (spanning the earliest Microdata systems to IBM U2) and TRG's successful track record of supporting MultiValue databases such as D3 from Raining Data were key factors in forming this partnership. This partnership enables TRG to market IBM U2 products to organizations new to IBM U2 technology or organizations who wish to upgrade their MultiValue environment to IBM U2. TRG will provide application and technology support to these clients.
