Technical Resource Group Speaks at mv.Net Developer Conference

Santa Ana, Calif. April 15, 2008 Technical Resource Group (TRG) honored the request by BlueFinity International to speak at its recent mv.Net Developer’s Conference. TRG is a reseller of BlueFinity’s mv.Net product. The all day conference for developers using mv.Net was held on April 4, 2008 at the Newport Beach, CA Marriott. David Cooper of BlueFinity was the featured speaker at the Conference but Jim Walery, General Manager of TRG, was asked to provide a mv.Net case study to the developers attending.

"I was glad to speak at the conference as we are extremely happy with the mv.Net product and Bluefinity support of the product," Walery said. "I wanted to share with the audience our experience with the product and with doing a mv.Net related project," Walery added. "This product allowed us to write new software in C# and connect to a MultiValue database which in this case was D3," added Walery.

TRG is an IT consulting company with expertise in Pick/MultiValue technology such as D3, Universe, Unidata and jBase. TRG had a client who was looking at putting a graphical user interface (GUI) onto a tried and true green screen critical application. The client was looking for ease of use, especially with training new users, as well as better documentation and a richer experience in terms of functionality. mv.Net was the product selected by TRG and the client to accomplish this.

Jim Walery presented to the developers why the client wanted to “GUIize” their application, discussed why mv.Net was selected, gave details about the project including the problems that occurred, and offered suggestions for a successful GUI project.

mv.NET is a suite of components designed to provide the MultiValue developer with a comprehensive solution to the challenge of creating Microsoft .NET based applications requiring access to MultiValue databases. With support for all major MultiValue platforms, mv.NET allows the developer to use the latest Microsoft technology while still leveraging the traditional benefits of MultiValue functionality.
