Technical Resource Group Acquired by Pipeline Group Costa Mesa, Calif.—March 15, 2006—Technical Resource Group (TRG) announced that it has been acquired by the Pipeline Group. Pipeline Group, Inc., owners of Pipeline Software, is a company providing services for design and development of on-demand software based on the J2EE framework. TRG is a professional services consulting company with expertise in Pick or Multivalue application development, as well as a Microsoft Certified Partner. The companies see no redundancies in staffing and for the near future the staffing and operations of the companies under the Pipeline Group will remain the same. “Pipeline Group is looking to expand their field of influence,” Kevin Marshall, president of TRG, and now a board member of Pipeline Group. “Pipeline Software is in the Java space for software development. TRG is in the Pick and .NET space for software development. Our reputation and in-house expertise in this niche market was a major point of attraction.” TRG will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pipeline Group and, at some point in the future, may operate under the name Pipeline TRG, Marshall noted. “We’re excited to be part of their entire group,” he said. “This gives us more credibility and resources for larger projects. We are going to expand into the IBM U2 (Universe and Unidata) market and expand our capabilities in .NET development for Pick or multivalue.” Pipeline Group is in the early stages of providing a roadmap for the acquisition. “They still are going to be acquiring a lot of companies,” Marshall noted.
